Lots of people disagree with Bernie because they think hes too radical or that hes a one issue candidate, or, my personal favorite, that hes going to take half of your money. But most of these claims are made by those who never even explore the political track records of the candidates being discussed. Though a majority of major news outlets like to push  "the inevitable victory of Hilary Clinton" in our faces as much as they possibly can, Sanders has continued to establish himself as the heart of the democratic party. Emphasizing on equality, social justice, sustainability, and compassion, his message resonates with the crowd, drawing 10’s of thousands of supporters to his rallies. Young voters have turned out in staggering numbers. Armies of students and young professionals are mobilizing to support the candidate that understands the importance of investing in our future. This country needs reform, not “Incremental change.” With the shrinking job market, a seemingly unstoppable tuition rate hike, global warming, lack of affordable health care, the incarceration rate, or the generally increasing disregard for Individual rights… incremental change is just a cowards word. Its a word to justify the continuation of status quo, where no one benefits but the people who funded the status quo campaign.
